2 weeks post op. 45 yo female. Left inguinal hernia robotic laparoscopic repair with mesh. Any experience welcome

So I had a left side inguinal hernia repaired on 9/22. First week was all that I expected to be, pain wasn’t terrible most days. Met with surgeon 9 days later for first post op, he checked incisions and repair area, had me couph. Explaine my swelling down there was normal and will take quite a bit more time to come down. He said I could resume activity, although I prefer to still really baby things. Today tho, I used my foot(not repair side) to push back my chair into recline position. Doing that really aggravated something because the pain after was terrible. Burning, numbness, aching, at high levels. I actually took a pain pill which I haven’t need that since day 4. I’m terrified based on that pain that I damaged something. I feel better now because the med, but can’t help but worry. It was terrible. And I have panic disorder, which does not help. Because pain set in, then panic, then my body clenches and tightens cuz that’s what happens to me in panic episodes or attacks. Well that exacerbates the pain. Under control now but anyone experiences would help
