UKTRT: 💉 How Long Does TRT Take to Work? A Realistic Timeline 📈

One of the biggest questions when starting TRT is when will I actually notice a difference? 🤔

Some effects can show up relatively quickly; others can take months.

We put together a simple TRT timeline 📈 covering what you might expect from the first few weeks through to 12+ months.

UKTRT: Is TRT a life long commitment?

We've just published a new article looking at a question that comes up a lot: if you start TRT, are you on it for life?

It covers why TRT is generally considered a long-term treatment, what happens to natural testosterone production, reasons someone might stop, and what recovery after stopping can look like.

TRT & Blood Pressure: A Practical Guide

One of the most common questions I see is whether TRT raises blood pressure.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of conflicting information online, and discussions often mix up blood pressure, haematocrit, cardiovascular risk, and other related topics.

I put together a guide that explains the topic in plain English, covers the common misconceptions, and outlines what men on TRT should actually be keeping an eye on.

I'm not a doctor, and this isn't medical advice. The goal was simply to create a practical resource that's easier to understand than jumping between forum posts and conflicting opinions.

Read the article here:

I'd be interested to hear whether your blood pressure changed after starting TRT, and if so, what you think was behind it.

A New Discord Community for Anyone Interested in TRT

Thought I'd throw this out there as we've had a few people mention it'd be useful.

A mate and I have put together a Discord server for the UKTRT community. The idea isn't to replace the subreddit, but to complement it. Reddit is great for posts, but Discord is much better for actual conversations, asking quick questions, getting opinions, and chatting with people who are going through the same things.

The plan is for it to become a place where people can:

  • Ask questions and get help from the community.
  • Learn about different clinics in the UK and abroad.
  • Share experiences with TRT, bloodwork, protocols, training, etc.
  • Chat with like-minded people without having to make a Reddit post every time.

Over time, I'll also see if I can get a few doctors and other knowledgeable people involved. As many of you know, I have some good connections. They obviously won't be giving personal medical advice, but hopefully we can do things like AMAs and educational discussions which could be really useful.

The same applies for people like myself, I will not give medical advice due to the industry I work in.

I know Discord is usually associated with gaming, but it's actually a great platform for building communities like this.

It's definitely going to be a slow burn and won't be buzzing overnight, but if enough people join in and contribute, I think it could become a really valuable resource alongside the subreddit.

If you join, make sure you accept the server rules and select your role (TRT or Cycle), otherwise the rest of the server won't unlock.

Join here: https://discord.gg/cdy3mq2g5

Hopefully see some of you in there!

In the process of building UKTRT.co.uk - Informational Hub!

Now that I've stepped down from Origin and have a bit more time on my hands, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into a side project while I work out my future plans.

I built UKTRT.co.uk a few years ago, but I've decided it's time to give it the attention it deserves and turn it into a genuinely valuable resource for people looking for reliable, legally compliant information about TRT in the UK.

The goal is to make it the go-to place for honest, evidence-based information—whether you're just starting to learn about TRT or you're already on treatment.

I'd love to hear what you'd find most useful. Whether it's guides, blood test information, clinic comparisons, FAQs, or anything else related to TRT, drop your ideas below. I'd really appreciate the feedback. 👀
