Tacoma Washington find

Tacoma Washington find

My partner brought this home and left a couple others (before we realized it's prohibited). Found by a busy road and sidewalk in a neighborhood area so there was possibly a run in with a car. The FWS feather identification tool isn't much help since it's not barred or spotted, which takes out a lot of obvious candidates.

14" or about 35 cm, it's big

The pattern is distinct, not mottled

The black edge is very distinctive and I can't find anything to match that

I really doubt we have wild turkeys or pheasants around here. I've seen a bald eagle, other undetermined birds of prey and plenty of crows.

Tones yelling "Finish him!"

I think I saw a mention of this somewhere and just wanted to confirm. Who is Tones? Blockhead?
