I want to knit a sheer-style lace weight top like this Aura Top by Alice Hoyle, but I want to make the body more opaque than the top and sleeves so it's more wearable.

I'm thinking I can add a second strand to get it more opaque, but I can't wrap my head around if I need to change needle size too and how that would affect sizing? I plan to use Knitting For Olive Soft Silk Mohair. Thanks for any help!
