Great house in a great area at a GREAT price. What's the catch!?
Need some help. Why did this bungalow sell for so much?
Greater Toronto home sales up 9.4% in June as board predicts price growth could come
toronto.citynews.caProbably one of the worst houses I have seen. Massively overpaid in 2017 and are now bag holders.
House is tiny and old. Weird layout. Some sort of electrical junction box on the front yard. But hey, at least it's currently leased.
What kind of designer creates a sunken bedroom??
Massive step and a half to get from the main bedroom space to the area that connects to the ensuite. So dumb. A massive trip hazard at night.
House has been sitting on the market for awhile, failing to sell. I swear this sunken bedroom thing is tanking the value of the home.

Has Anyone Bought a Good House Without a Bidding War?
I know we all hate bidding wars, but I'm starting to think that any house that's truly desirable is going to attract one. I've even found myself becoming suspicious of listings that don't. A couple of times I've pulled my offer when I'm the only bidder and the offer deadline is only minutes away.
Maybe that's the wrong way to think about it, but I'm starting to feel that if nobody is competing for a property, there must be a reason. Are you getting the same impression, or am I just becoming conditioned by this market?

Sold at over about 250k over asking. There were a total of 9 bids on offer day.
Wtf is this market? More than 250k above asking. I thought it was a buyers market now. Stuff like this makes me depressed.
When making this left turn with no traffic lights, where should I be waiting? Car position 1, 2, or 3?
Whats the correct thing to do here?
Should I make sure I am not within the median yellow lines ("1")?
Is it ok to wait inside the median ("2")?
It would be pretty bad to block traffic by waiting in the left lane ("3") right?
Webull Canada randomly gave me 71 cents??? I hold zero positions/stocks
I had 9 cents in my account for the past two years. I hold zero positions, zero investments, nothing in any savings accounts.
I deposited 5$ a week ago and instead of now showing 5.09$, Webull shows I have 5.80$. wtf? Where did the 71 cents come from?
My Funds History shows no other inputs of money. Just the 9 cents and the 5$ deposit.
What is going on?
