I was sleeved on 13th May 2026. Im roughly at the six week mark, but my hair has started to fall out in large clumps. I’m taking a multivitamin everyday, but this is distressing.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to preserve hair/ prevent hair loss? I have waist length hair so I’m devastated it’s falling out at the rate it is.
Hi all,
Due to the extreme heatwave in the UK right now, how is everyone coping with a sleeve? What I mean by that is I’m drinking 10 minutes before I have a meal because I’m dehydrated and then vomiting/ cannot tolerate my food.
Are you keeping hydrated but skipping food? Are you eating but not drinking until an hour later? I don’t know what to do- I had my operation on 13th May.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Hi all,
I’m roughly 3.5 weeks post op, just started soft foods. I’m curious to see what pain medication people are taking post op, as I relied heavily on NSAIDs before (Naproxen, Meloxicam, Tranexamic acid) and I have been told by my GP that they will not be suitable post sleeve. Celebrex was suggested but that is also an NSAID.
