Diabetes

Does anyone have experience with feline diabetes? My boy Cloud got diagnosed about two months ago. We tried senvelgo for one month but his glucose was not under control. We have been on prozinc for about 3 weeks and it’s still not under control. We started at 2 units, then went up to 3 last Friday, and we’re going to up to 4 today. His sugar has stayed in the 400-470 range. Has anyone ever experienced this and does anyone have any advice? I feel like I’m going crazy and insulin is so expensive 😭

Poster age: 25, can afford vet care
Cat age: 7, he is neutered, yes we are working with the vet
TLDR: Cat has diabetes and it seems nothing is bringing his glucose down.
Cat tax included 😌
