U6 Mesh Access Point hot to the touch

Is it normal for an access point like this one to be surprisingly hot to the touch? It carries much of my permanent household traffic (Ring cameras, Enphase gateway, etc). I have unplugged it and am letting it cool down, but I am concerned there is something wrong.

Can anyone tell me where the best prices can be found for hardwood slabs and 5/4 and 8/4? I am in the Valley and have been buying mostly at my local Anawalt True Value, but if I were to scale up and need to buy more than just an odd board or two now and again, where should I go?
