is my xbox 360 dead or fixable??

was mid dvd when it suddenly muted and then the screen got like this. it's ~2011-2012 Xbox 360 that is used minimally and mostly as a dvd player. the tv is fine and ive unplugged, waited 5 mins, and reconnected all the wires. the audio is somehow the only thing working on the xbox and it's responding to button presses on the controller. anyone know how to fix this or if it's dead?
