There's some comments out there that just straight up pmo man, so go send whatever comments you've seen that are very insensitive to Rec Room players still mourning the loss of this genuinely goated game (Honorable Mention: "VRChat is better")
IYDK, I made a post here on r/RecRoom inviting people to have their Roblox avatars Rec-Roomified.. in a way. Tons of people went ahead and sent their stuff, but that was also part of the issue, so I'm going to have to call it off, this post is just to announce that and share my personal favorites to work on! Also i guess counts as an AMA, feel free to ask anything!
I hope I'm not the only one thinking this, but weren't the servers only used for multiplayer? Couldn't we just have a version of rec room that only played locally? Sure it'd be boring but it's a sign of what once was, at the very least. Same with the discord, it's not like rec room ran the discord servers
Rec Room's death hit me so much harder than I expected, so as a way to cope and keep the memory alive I'm, for a lack of better words, Rec Room-ifying random roblox user's avatars, yours included, for free! Just.. send your username, and I also have, well, limited assets considering these are free models but I work with what I can. (edit, chillax guys! this is around 60~ requests and i have personal stuff to do so it might take a while to get to your avatar) REALLY IMPORTANT: i need your username for this. if its simple enough, like the accessories are popular and made by roblox and STRICTLY that, i can work with it but for clothing i need your username.
as I mourn the horrible, horrible death of rec i cope by making renders with assets published to the roblox store. so yeah, cool stuff innit? for those who might get confused i am NOT making a roblox recreation of rec-room this is just a cool.. image.

Only recently am I enjoying Rec Room again, its such a shame I didn't do much before it got shut down. And seeing all the crap I used to wear, all the friends who haven't logged on in many multiple years brings a tear to my eye, and said tear tastes... bittersweet for some reason its sad to see Rec Room go, but I guess the ultimate thing to learn is that all good things must come to an end. Thanks Rec Room!
