I have a very large oak tree that means essentially 100% shade in the summer. Thinking of planting oak sage to provide some ground cover (currently mostly dirt and some moss). Are there better alternatives in Southern Ontario? And can I mow the oak sage to keep it kind of grass height?

Thank you. I'd be very grateful for your insight and/or ideas. I am not committed to oak sage. I just want my lawn to look OK from the road.

Just bought a used trailer and the instruction manual talks about how to winterize but it is not clear on how to de-winterize.

Thank you.
