Did anyone smile in their photo and have it accepted? (If yes, which BLS location?)

I recently got my photos done and just reviewed how we're not supposed to be smiling in our photos. (Jokes on me because I should have reviewed that point before getting it done, right?) I'm not showing teeth or anything like that but it's still a smile. Not a gigantic smile, but an obvious smile.

Kind of angry that I probably just wasted money on these photos but I'm guessing I should get another one done without me smiling at all? *cries at money that could have been used on fast food*

How many days did it take for you to receive your carta after you had accepted your school placements?

I thought first year renewals were a "priority" and would get news before anyone else but first time applicants have already begun to receive regional placement news?!?

Who else has yet to receive any news beyond admitada as a renewal?

So, she received a bill where she had enough time to pay for it by mail but wants to wait to the last minute to pay for it. How exactly is that a me problem?

She's going on a rampage after I won't "help" her to pay by credit card.

(Originally, she wanted me to use my money to pay for it but now it's changed to using her card but she hasn't even activated the card and needs "help" with that, too.)

How has she managed to be on this planet? How was it ok for her to use someone else to do all these tasks and more?

These people are scum. I am not ok with people thinking these people are sweet for not "knowing" how to do these tasks. It's weaponized incompetence.

Wow! I'm repulsed by nmom. I recently returned home not bc I want to but bc I have to but am looking forward to somehow getting away from her again asap.

I'd have to find myself another job but even if I got something in this job market, I'm wondering how I'll manage to afford rent.

I sort of have a backup opportunity where I might be able to get away from her for some time but it's not immediate and I honestly am tired and want to just stay put, just not near her, with her or under the same roof as her.

Get this! She tried to talk me into pairing up with her, to take out a loan and for me to pay it monthly and "we" could just use that money. I didn't pay much attention to it but F you, you F-ing leech.

The home is a mess. She used to project onto me but with me not telling her in advance when I'd be back, she had no chance to cover her filth. It always her who was gross and no, I'm not here to play maid or servant.

Being away has helped me to see her bs so quickly but at the same time, I'm so scared that I'm at risk of going backwards in my progress.

Day 1 of arriving, I saw what I saw and told myself that she is severely dysfunctional and has always been dysfunctional and I should have never been around such dysfunction and don't want to be exposed to this dysfunction for any longer than I have to.

Today, she had the audacity to tel me I couldn't do something to MY car. I had a moment and 5 minutes later, I was like wait, this is my car and I can do what I want to do with it. What is she on about when it isn't her car? It's all about control and playing mind games. These people are insane and should not be interacting with anyone in society. They are twisted and dangerous. (Oh and fyi, it was her not wanting me to put up f-ing sun shades. wtf)

Another thing. She started spewing crap about how if I needed to attend a work meeting or something, to tell her. I thought she meant if I was going to be on the phone or something so that she could try to be quiet but no, she meant to tell her in regards to when I need to use MY car to attend these so-called meetings. Wtf? Why would I need to tell you? She proceeded to say that if she has appointments, it may conflict with my work appointments or something like that. Um, excuse you? it's my car. What does this b*tch not understand? Why can't she sell her non-functioning car or fix it instead of creating chaos and making things difficult?

How insane and infuriating. Can someone just kick this b*tch all the way to outer space or smth?

They say people aren't useless but Ns are so useless and take up so much space. They should not be in the same space as us.

Just wanted to double check that we CAN leave Spain with an expired TIE provided that we have an unexpired visa? And we would just return to Spain before the visa expiration date to do the TIE renewal (and regreso, if necessary) then?
