An episode so good that it ruins the the rest of the show for you (in comparison)
I was rewatching JJK and I got to Higuruma episodes. They reach incredible height in such short amount of time. It made me compare them to other strong moments in JJK - nothing comes close. Sure, it works because of all the build up and past events in the show but still... the rest feels so shallow now in comparison.
The other examples I came up with are:
The ending of the Chimera Ant arc in HxH
First 5 episodes in My Happy Marriage (although, with this one it's more of a genre change)
Has anyone had similar experience with other shows?
