Hello, If you know a student who seems to have recently started a strange survey/research internship job supposedly for a Trent professor, please check up on the details of the job with them. There is a real professor by that name, but the email address is @gmail, there’s a clue that it's suspicious and not really them. It involves bounced cheques and Apple gift cards, that’s definitely a swindle.

I have notified the professor and Trent, though I don’t know what they could do about it.

Note, I considered being sneaky and misspelling many words in this post in case the evildoers have some kind of search alert set up, but I think it’s better to just get the word out there.
