First EV

Picked up my first EV and spent the day driving it around. Absolutely delighted with it and such a nice driving experience but very easy to speed in. You don't even realise your speed it's so effortless. Haven't sorted a charger yet so am definitely open to suggestions. Thinking about a Zappi but won't rule anything out. Cheers for all the info on here, it's been great to be able to read some real works experiences and comparisons.

First EV

I'm picking up my first EV next week. We managed to go for a face-lift Kia EV6. I'm absolutely delighted, slightly scared and looking forward to it. We haven't got a home charger yet but can work off a mix of the granny charger and free charging in work so there's no worries there. I've been on this page and reading so much that's its been a great education so just wanted to say thanks to everyone who contributes. The problems and solutions, the answers to people's questions, has all been really helpful to a person who wanted to make the change and just needed more information. Even just the bit of craic that goes on. Cheers folks.

Charger location

I'm just about to get my first EV and am trying to figure out the best location, type and supplier for the charger. I have a driveway with a low wall between my and my neighbour. The fuse box is located on the left hand side of my front door as you are looking at it from the driveway so easily accessible for the electrician. I was debating installing the charger on the dividing wall with the neighbour and wondering would this be possible or is it best on the front wall of the house. We are hoping to get external insulation done in the next while too so was hoping to keep the charger off the house wall. Any pointers or should we wait until external insulation is done? Thanks for the help!
