White Bridge (Tetri Khidi) over Rioni River, Kutaisi, Western Georgia 🇬🇪
New York Consulate processing time / question
US citizen here / never been to China / no exceptions on online L visa application. Submitted via COVA Fri 5/1; as of today (Wed 5/13), still stuck in "Preliminary review in progress". That's 8 business days later... hopefully moves to next step "Passport to be submitted" by Fri...
Question is: once it does and passport is dropped off, does that generally mean no issues / visa will be pretty much def come through? Been holding off on buying plane tix for planned trip in late June, so trying to assess if safe to proceed in booking once passport is cleared to be dropped off at consulate. TIA for any insights.
Pashtida Tiras (Corn Pashtida)
Pashtida is an Israeli crustless quiche / dairy casserole that appears in many permutations.
This one, which comes together very easily, is made with sweet corn, eggs, mozzarella, feta, cottage cheese, scallions & fresh basil (plus a little flour + baking powder), baked in a breadcrumb-coated dish and topped with thinly-sliced shallots and sesame seeds. It’s really good! Recipe from Ruhama's IG.
(I made the full recipe; turns out this small Staub baker - 7.5”x6”/1.05 qt - holds exactly half a 9"x13" recipe, so I baked half and froze the remaining batter to save for Shavuot!)
