This book can be found online for roughly $80-100, which is far cheaper and easier to acquire than the Werner Stengel book I posted yesterday. Nevertheless, I know that’s still out of reach for many people, so here it is in all its digital glory for anyone to view. See comments for the download link.

This book was published 25 years ago for an exhibition about Werner Stengel in Munich, Germany. Not many copies of it exist, and the ones that do exist can go for hundreds or even over a thousand dollars. It’s also entirely in German.

A few years ago I discovered that the book was in a library in Chicago, so I drove five hours there to read the book in person. I scanned every page and was able to convert it to raw text, then use Google Translate to get it into English. Since then, I have shared the scanned copy as well as a PDF of the translated raw text. However, I was recently approached by u/vaiana_ who offered to put translated text over the German text to make it into one, readable copy for English speakers.
