Technical interview for PwC UK Director role, what should I expect?

Hi everyone,

I've been invited to a technical interview for a Director position at PwC UK (Customer/Technology Consulting).

Has anyone been through the Director interview process recently? I'm curious what the technical interview is actually like. Is it more of a deep dive into past client work, case-based, commercial discussion, or should I expect detailed technical questions?

Any tips on what the interviewers are looking for at Director level, and how best to prepare, would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

How realistic is it that Julie Sweet could actually be replaced as CEO?

It feels like employee sentiment is at an all-time low, LinkedIn is flooded with criticism of Accenture's leadership, and the stock has significantly underperformed expectations.

Many people seem to think she needs to go, but given she's both CEO and Chair of the Board, how realistic is that outcome?

For those with board or public company experience:

  • What would need to happen for the board to replace her?
  • Does being Chair make her position materially more secure?
  • At what point does shareholder pressure force leadership change?

Interested in hearing views on the governance reality, not whether she deserves to stay or go.
