Im trying to transfer my save data from a switch lite to a normal switch. I did the transfer it offered when i initially turned the new console on and it worked for tomodachi life but not animal crossing, the only two games i play on switch. I‘ve read up on transferring animal crossing but everywhere says i need to download the island transfer tool from the eshop on my old console, which I can’t access because the only user that was conntected to a nintendo account has already been moved to the new console. There is another user i made (just for a second house in acnh) that i can use but no the console is now asking me if i am sure i want to link this user to this Nintendo account as it can’t be undone. I am worried it will override my actual switch user that i already transferred because it’s showing its icon (flick, the red chameleon guy) on the screen. Please is this save to do? Is this gonna send the „acnh pilot“ user over to my new switch too then? I dont want that account there, i just want my island. Or did i actually already lose my island by transferring the island representative to my new switch?
