It’s time to make a change to Tommy Carr!

The definition of insanity is to try the same thing over and over and expect different results. Bryce Underwood is not good. He can’t read defenses. He’s not making good decisions in the pocket. The RPO offensive scheme doesn’t fit our personnel and especially ill suited because Underwood makes bad decisions. It’s time to give Tommy Carr a chance. He literally can’t be worse.

Goff gets no respect

In 2020, before Matt Stafford was traded, he was the 13th ranked QB in the NFL. Once on the Rams, all of a sudden everyone realizes he was always good on a bad team.

Now Lions QB Goff gets no respect. I guess we’re going to have to win a SB to convince the “experts” that Goff is a top tier talent.

Is this finally the year the Lions can win it all?

When we made it to the NFC championship against San Francisco, it feels like if we would’ve gone for a couple of field goals we might have won that game. Chalk it up to a head coach learning experience. In 2024, we lost to a hot Washington team and were limited by a defense decimated by injuries.

Last year we lost Ben Johnson, and it was obvious that our offense was out of sync, the offensive line was not as good, and it was another year of our defense getting ravaged by injuries.

Has our coaching staff gotten better? I think so. Shepherd is in his second year as defensive coordinator and I think it’s gonna make a big difference. If our OC can get our offense to effectively run the ball then I think we got a serious chance to win it all. Still, what makes me nervous as our offensive line.

What do you think?

All the talk is about it replacing Stevie, but will the new GM hire his own HC?

If we have an external hire for our new GM, experience would tell us that they usually like to bring in their own people. How safe is McLellan?
