Howdy!
Before I dive into my soft rant of the morning, first of all, want to say US Mobile is still incredible. Was broke on Sunday, plan expired, chatted in with customer service to see how long I had before my number disappeared into the abyss. They couldn't give me a timeline which I felt was weird since the help article just got updated based on another Reddit post recently, but, they gave me a free Light plan for a few days (until today) after I got paid so I'd have service in the meantime.
Great gesture, highly appreciated, and honestly turned my Sunday around.
Go to change back to a 2GB Pool plan this morning so I have hotspot if needed, order gets stuck in review, like nearly every time I place an order. As usual, I open up chat and expect them to release the order. They tell me I need to email compliance. Uhhh, what? Can I have a supervisor, pretty please? Supervisor says the same thing. Can I have the phone number, please?
I then call in, spend 6 minutes on the phone, and order is released without issue after he talked to the compliance department. He also proactively refunded my second attempt which was super great.
But, all mighty USM Reddit team, why did I have to call in???
The problem got solved in like 20 minutes but still felt like a few too many steps for me to give you my money.
Just like my last post in this sub, I'm not ranting, I can't due to how great USM treated me on Sunday, I just don't want this to happen next month. Thanks for staying awesome!
