Big Day. Fan fitting.

Always a nerve racking job.

Update 1: Hole is cut, inner frame is stuck in and nearly gone off, good for sunny days. Off to fit the flange. I decided to go with Spax roofing screws for extra sealing power.

Update 2: All in, went with the roofing screws and then added a blob of 522 over the tops, cost me nothing amd it's extra security.

Getting the screws to line up for holding the fan to the flange was a bit of a drama this time, I had to use a bit of pressure and a pick to get them slightly lined up before I could shove the screws in. Added photos in the comments.

Rotring 800 Vs Gravity

I managed to drop my Rotring 800 through some gratings at work, it fell about 25m and bounced off a few things on the way to landing on a steel deck.

This seem to be the only damage but it's a biggie, that's the cam follower so the tip won't extend any more. I'm hoping a bit of superglue will fix it.

The Grip of a New Spax Bit

It’s always a great feeling when you throw out an old Spax bit and change to a new one. grips like glue.

Thsts it, really. I’ve had the Cat School and Manticore for a while but I set myself a mini quest of finding all the diagrams and then crafting up every set to Grandmaster.

it cleaned me out financially, went from about 120,000 gold to having to sell off all my gems (apart from two rubies for the Wolves swords) and a big pile of relic swords and armour to finally get the components I needed.

I’m pleased either way myself. Wish there was an achievement for it though.
