Heinz, drink up to weeping tears of tomatoes (1935)

This ad is just a little bit disturbing 😂 From my copy of Fortune 1935. The tomatoes are crying because there are not enough of them for you... to be squished into your delicious drink. These tomatocrats are truly fruits of the people.

1951 Toaster Ad, Camfield Manufacturing Co. Grand Haven, Michigan

I came across this ad in my archive, from a 1951 copy of Life Magazine. It stood for its unusually bold design for a small ad from that era. I spent a lot of time hanging out in Grand Haven years ago.

Kreolite Wood Block Floors (1953)

Found this ad in my copy of Fortune June 1953. I think the logo is pretty cool. I've never seen a floor like this installed. The company Jennison Wright looks to be still in business so I sent them a copy.
