this is bad, right?

Just saw this a few minutes ago when I walked out in the backyard. This is my neighbor’s tree hanging over my fence. I haven’t done any research besides a google image search to find out it is a TOH and these are spotted lantern fly nymphs…. so I’ll be reading this sub + r/invasivespecies after work tonight.

But for now, just wanted to share how absolutely WILD this is. My skin is still crawling. And I guess I’m also looking for reassurance that I don’t need to panic? Can I wait until this weekend to knock on the neighbor’s door to talk about removal?
