I've been a passive fan of the animation and want to get back to it now that a few episodes came out since last time I watched it and then in Tiktok I found out there is a comic !

Now I want to know if:

1. Is the comic an adaptation?

Or

2. Are both canon but work alongside with each other ?

Or

3. Are they completely seperate ?

And if the answer is no.1 how far into the comic have they adapted so far ?

First I want to say I am NOT including s9 because it hasn't ended yet

And Second I ask to be civil please ... I'm ok with negetive or opposite opinions to mine but all I ask is let's respect each other's opinion

But yeah anyway I'm new to the fandom and as watching it without any prior knowledge regarding the writer and va changes, I loved s7 and 8 more then any other seasons while disliking s3 which apparently is a fan favorite

In my opinion, both seasons had some of the strongest episodes in terms of lore and character developments SPECIALLY for Rick and Jerry ... And I know that one Ice tea episode is also in one of these seasons but to ke that was the 1 flaw in those seasons

So imagine my surprise when I came to Tiktok and Reddit and saw how loved they are while s3 which is my 3rd least favorite season is everyone's favorite 😂

Anyway not including s9 here is my ranking of tge seasons:

4. S2

5. S4

6. S3

7. S5

8. S1

I have been watching Rick and Morty for the first time ever in the past 5 days and just got caught up and gotta say Evil Morty is my favorite and even though I was spiiled on his episodes before watching the show every single one still managed to hook me

So here is my ranking of them:

1. S7 ep 5: Unmortricken

2. S9 ep 1: There's something about Morty

3. S3 ep 7: The Ricklantis mix-up

4. S1 ep 10: Close Rickcounters of Rick kind

5. S5 ep 10: Rickmurai Jack
