Considering Buying an Already-Existing Float Business

I'm looking for work that will fit around my schedule as a mom. There's a float shop / sauna / cold plunge business nearby that's up for sale, and as long as I have an employee or two, it seems like the perfect option. They're already set up. They already have a social media following, monthly members, and a newsletter.

Is there anything I should be aware of or concerned about before jumping into this?

Are My Expectations Realistic?

I'm looking for part time work, and voice acting sounds like a great, flexible job I can do while the kids are in school. I'm specifically looking at audiobooks. My goal is to make an average of $2,000 a month. Dry spells are okay, as long as I can make up for them in other months. I also understand it takes a while to get established, though I don't know what length of time I should expect.

Are these expectations reasonable?

Experience: I did the narration for an audiobook that I wrote through Simon and Schuster, so one of my projects is on Audible. I've also done commercials for an up-and-coming business and did monthly cooking demonstrations on our local television program.

Why aren't werewolf books more popular?

I've been thinking for ten years that werewolves would be the next big thing once the vampire trend died out. Maybe they will be the next big thing, and it'll just take one great book to get the trend started. But is there a reason werewolves aren't more popular? Do people not like them for some reason?
