No Wifi reconnect
I have an ongoing case with support and it seems they just don't understand what I'm talking about. My jackery Explorer 1000 plus is being used as a power backup to run some of the items on my reef aquarium should I have a power outage. I've had an issue twice where I was out of town and the power at my house had gone off for about 5-10 minutes. The app said the jackery was not connected. The jackery never came back online. When I got home I used the manual process to turn the Wi-Fi back on and was able to get it reconnected. This happened a second time where my internet went out for about 10 minutes while I was home and when the internet came back the jackery did not reconnect, I had to manually reconnect it. I reset the entire unit and reset the whole thing up again but now I'm concerned that this is just how this thing works which makes no sense. Even my cheap aquarium devices from China automatically reconnect to the internet after a power outage or internet outage.
The customer support person keeps wanting videos of the problem or instructing me on how to manually reconnect and I keep telling them I know how to manually reconnect and videos aren't going to show you anything, but they don't seem to understand what I'm telling them. I've read posts from a couple people saying after 5 minutes of no Wi-Fi signal, it stops trying to reconnect and will never turn back on on its own. I find it so hard to believe that an expensive device like this is intended to work like that. The entire point is you're using this thing when there's no power so what's the point of having Wi-Fi in it if after there's no power the Wi-Fi doesn't work anymore. If that is the case I'm going to have to get rid of this because it's useless to me if I can't monitor the power situation if I'm not home to reset it. Is this honestly how this thing is supposed to work? I can't seem to get a straight answer from anybody at Jackery.
