Water bill

Hello everyone!

I don't live in Riverside and have only ever rented, so I never really pay water/trash/sewers. I tried looking online but couldn't find a satisfying answer.

My family lives in Riverside (92503) and their water bill has averaged about $200 for a 3-person household with no pool. It seems a little high to me, but again, I have nothing to compare to.

Is this about right? Or should I be investigating?

TIA!

Edit: it’s water and sewer. But it seems the consensus is that it’s pretty high either way.

Limited Time Buildings Tracker!

Someone on this sub (I believe u/No-Acanthisitta8803?) mentioned how they'd like a way to track their collection of limited time buildings and where/if they've placed them. Well, I couldn't get the idea out of my head, so here! (Link in comments screenshots)

I hope you enjoy this and find it useful. I'm open to comments and suggestions. Please let me know if something is broken or isn't working as expected.

Note that this is as accurate as the Wiki is. I will do my best to keep it updated as often as possible. The plan is weekly updates.

Finally, some pictures are missing, some are not great (they're also from the wiki). I have provided the option to submit a missing picture of a building if you have it, and I will be adding a button to submit better pictures of existing ones soon.

Feedback is appreciated!

Edit: okay I just realized any comment with the link is getting removed. It’s in the screenshots!

SI or LC

I’m about to unlock my fourth region. Meaning I’m probably giving up the fifth one if not forever, then for a very, very long time.
I know aesthetics are personal, but apart from that, what should I keep in mind when choosing one region over the other?

I know the beach in SI can aid in pop boost. Anything else? TIA.

Help

I’ve never gotten enough blueprints to get a building in the exchange and now I have, but it means giving up the simcash and that feels like a crime. I can’t decide between the 350 simcash or the 4th of July Parade building. Is it worth it??

Edit: Alright, consensus is it’s worth it. I got the building. Y’all are right, simcash comes and goes..

Good news: No booster needed this season!

I posted this in a comment but thought it'd be good for other players to know. I did the math.

According to this post, this season's full upgrade requires 198500 coins.

the ads are 30,600 coins, this week's album is 17000, and the subsequent ones are usually higher. let's say they'er an average of 20000 a week, that's 110,600 coins between the ads and the albums.

178000 from the mayor's pass premium+

41600 from event tracks (I remember the following weeks have more, but for now I'm just multiplying this week's amount by 4)

18000 from the daily seasonal calendar

Conservative estimate is (without any ad bubbles) is 348200

198500 goes to the upgrades, leaves 149700 to get the all the seasonal buildings and some.

Just remember to be strategic and only get the required buildings at the required times in order to finish the weekly albums and get the rewards.

Just noticed a cute little design thing

I don’t know if this is common knowledge but I just noticed this after years of playing, each store has its star level added/updated at the front.

Farming Rail Coins

This might seem like common sense but unfortunately took me too long to notice so I thought I'd post it for others just in case.
For those farming rail coins like I am, while Engines are 700 rail coins and seem like the most profitable, selling drills and tires instead is actually almost twice as profitable as engines due to production time and required materials.
