Had a mri scan and was told I had a 3.4cm lesion on my cerebellum and I just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience and story’s about it and or surgery stories I just want to know more about it. It helps reading other people’s stories
I’m a 29 year old (F) who went into a regular eye appointment to get my eyes checked for a new prescription and then was told I had optic nerve swelling. I then had a mri done to check what was swelling my optic nerves and they ended up finding a small 3.4mm lesion on my cerebellum. its pushing into some blood vessels that’s causing my optic nerve to swell and some other symptoms I’m having which is headaches a couple times a week and also dizziness and whooshing sounds in my ears when I’m laying down. They also told me it’s benign so is it anything concerning really or is it something I should still take seriously? I know I have a appointment with a neurosurgeon who will go over it with me but I just need other opinions on it before I go over it with them
