Heater fuse

67 firebird I just bought, heater keeps blowing 25 amp fuse after running for a little bit. Any advice on where to look first? New blower doesnt look expensive, should i just replace it? Would it be a terrible idea to try a 30 amp fuse? Thanks.

Ridetech front suspension help.

I have a complete front end ridetech suspension. The springs are 8 inch/700 pound springs and it’s been adjusted as high as it can go. Is there any “easy” change I can do to get a higher ride height ? Taller spring? Stiffer spring? Thanks.

Head id help

I have a 1967 firebird with a 350 engine from 1974. I’m trying to identify the heads but I can’t find the casting code. I found the date codes and some other random markings. The spots above the center exhaust ports are blank. There is a 9 and 3 near each other, does that mean 93cc?? Thanks. At least I know they are d port exhaust

Battery recommendations

67 firebird with a Pontiac 350 from 1974. Just bought 2 weeks ago. Current battery is a ac delco 75s. It’s a wet battery with 630cca. Someone recommended upgrading to at least 750cca. I’ve also seen people say go to a glass mat battery in a classic car to avoid damage like if the wet battery leaks. Some people have said go with optima, but others say optima sucks now. Not running any extra audio equipment. Don’t know alternator. Has an electric radiator fan. Any help and recs appreciated!

Helps with tires and wheels

Just bought this 67 with ride tech coilovers. Back setup is 275/40r18 and front is 235/40r18. Is there any reason I wouldn’t be able to do 275/60r15 on the back and 235/60r15 on the front? Looking to do 15x8 rims.

Rough starts when engine is warm

I have a 67 firebird that I just got. It seems after I’ve been driving for a while and stop for gas or something and car is only off for a few min, the engine was difficult to start. Had to crank for my than 6 seconds. What should I be doing with the gas pedal for a warm start? Is it possible the starter is getting too warm and should get a heat shield for it? Included pic of starter

Cam question

Is there any easy way to determine what cam I have, or even just whether or not it’s a roller cam or flat tappets? Firebird I bought does not sound like a stock cam, and previous owner said it was installed before he had it and doesnt know exactly what it is.
Thanks.

Fuel stabilizer

New to a 67 firebird. Do I need to run fuel stabilizer in every tank (seller reccomended it) or just at the end of season when I don’t plan on driving it for winter? And how often should I run something like sea foam through the tank and engine?? Thanks

Spare parts to keep in trunk

Hi everyone. Picking up a 67 firebird. Wondering what basic spare parts or items I should keep in the trunk at all times in case I need them (other than a spare and jack). Thanks!
