I'll start:

Soooo... NYC weather craziness, are we gonna talk about it? 👀

From heat waves one week to a storm completely calling of races the next. We want to know, what are your opinions on outdoor HYROX events? Did NYC get seriously unlucky with the weather or should this be a plea for controlled climate conditions in events? Let us know what you think 👇🏼

First-time Hyroxer wanting sub 1:15? Here’s what it takes…

A lot of first-time HYROX participants go in with a goal of 1:15 but few are aware of what it actually looks like split by split. So, here's the PaceMe breakdown for the average Open singles course:

Roxzone: 5:46 / Run avg: 4:40

The runs alone account for 50% of total finish time. Add Roxzone and you're at 58%. If you're new to HYROX the runs and Roxzone is where you'll make most of the time.

What's your target time and which split worries you most?

New mod. New energy. Same data obsession - welcome to r/roxfit ⚡️

Hey! I'm u/roxfit-julie, a new mod for r/roxfit.

This is the home for HYROX participants who love the data almost as much as they love telling people they did an event. Splits, pacing, training, race-day decisions, and the occasional meme about Wall Balls. You know who you are.

Post ideas Race results. PB chases. Training questions. Brutal honesty about what went wrong at station 6. Of course, all ROXFIT app questions, capabilities and troubleshooting conversations are also welcome.

How r/roxfit works HYROX participants who take their data seriously, but the rest of their training and race experience, not so much. We're serious about data, not much else.

The overlay tax Bragging rights come at a cost. If you're posting a PB or race result, use a ROXFIT overlay — they're built into the app. No overlay, no brag. Those are the rules.

Let's go Share your current experience with the ROXFIT app or drop your next event and your goals for it in the comments. That's it.

If you know someone who belongs here, send them over. The more data we have, the better the conversation gets.

See you at HYROX's Ninth Station - the data**⚡️**

We crunched some numbers to help you plan your HYROX: Here’s the station you’re underestimating in PaceMe plans

We analysed 902,643 HYROX results from ROXFIT athletes. The station with the biggest gap between expected and actual split time when using PaceMe... Wall Balls. Athletes are on average 49 seconds slower than their pacing strategy planned for. Burpee Broad Jumps are second (35s), Sandbag Lunges third (28s). Ski Erg is actually one of the better-paced stations. Most athletes are relatively accurate on their plan at station 1.

What does your data tell you your worst station is? Would you consider adjusting your race plan knowing that you’re less likely to hit your wall ball target?
