I noticed a warm spot on my hardwood about 8 feet from my hot water heater in one direction and my bathroom about 8 feet in the other direction. I shut off all the water from the street and the meter didn’t go up. So i decided to shut everything off one by one in the house and the meter kept moving. So then I shut off the hot water and the meter finally stopped moving. Does that mean I have a slab leak? The house was built in 2010 so its still relatively new. Is it possible my hot water is leaking? It has a hose that drips water into some other kind of tube.
