Do M.Tech students get the new hostel? Also is it on sharing basis or private rooms?

How is Mtech Research in IIT Mandi? I had my interview and I'm pretty sure I'll get in but didn't got time to interact with the seniors over there. So can the seniors pls tell how is the research and placement in IIT Mandi for Intelligent Systems. Also do Mtech students get separate rooms or sharing rooms.

I'll be getting NIT jamshedpur in AI or DS this year so i want to know from the seniors how is the placement and research scenario. Also do the mtech students get private hostel rooms easily inside the campus?
