Family of 4 visiting Memorial Day — please poke holes in my plan

Driving in from Chicago, staying one night at the Sheraton on Old Falls Street (US side), then continuing east to Boston. We have Monday May 25 as our one full day. Family is 2 adults + 2 boys (18 and 21). All four have passports.

**Morning (US side, walking from hotel):**
- 7:45 AM leave Sheraton, walk to Ralph Wilson Welcome Center
- 8:00 AM arrive when it opens, buy Discovery Pass (Cave of the Winds + Maid of the Mist bundle)
- Do Cave of the Winds at assigned slot, then Maid of the Mist (or flip the order based on assigned Cave time)
- Back to hotel around noon for dry clothes and lunch

**Afternoon and evening (Canadian side, walking the Rainbow Bridge):**
- 1:15 PM walk to Rainbow Bridge with passports
- Walk south through Queen Victoria Park to Niagara Parks Power Station
- 2:30-5:30 PM Power Station + Tunnel (pre-purchasing tickets online)
- Dinner on the Canadian side
- Stay for the 10 PM falls fireworks
- Walk back across Rainbow Bridge by 10:30 PM

**What I'm specifically worried about:**

  1. Am I underestimating the Cave of the Winds Memorial Day line? Is 8 AM at the Welcome Center actually early enough or do we need to be there 7:30?
  2. Will the Welcome Center even sell Cave tickets at 8 AM, or do they wait until the attraction opens at 9? (Planning to confirm Sunday evening but want to know if anyone has direct experience.)
  3. Rainbow Bridge pedestrian customs at 1:30 PM on Memorial Day — am I right to budget 30-45 minutes, or is that too generous/not enough?
  4. Power Station: skipping it for the night Currents show instead — anyone done both and have a strong preference?
  5. Anything obvious we're missing or any rookie mistakes baked in?

Not trying to do everything. Cave of the Winds is the anchor, Power Station is the main Canadian-side activity, fireworks close out the night.

Thanks in advance.
