PSA for Manus users regarding invite links

I wanted to share something that happened to me twice now.
A few months ago I suddenly lost more than 6,000 paid credits. The only message I received was:
“Invalid invite.”
I contacted Manus support and after writing lots of messages for 2 weeks, I received a refund of my deducted paid credits.
Because I feared this might happen again, I removed invite links from previous Posts.
Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened again recently — this time another 3,000 paid credits disappeared with the same message.
Support explained that their automated risk control system keeps a historical record of invitation-related activity. Even if invite links are removed later, the previous risk assessment remains and can still trigger penalties.
I wasn’t aware that positive posting about manus or sharing invite links could have this consequence, and I think many users probably aren’t either.
So my recommendation to other Manus users is simple: don’t post or share invite links publicly, even if you remove them later. The potential cost can be significant if you’ve purchased credits.
I’m not posting this to complain, but to help others avoid losing paid credits the way I did.

I still hope Manus will reconsider this policy. Penalizing users months later, without a warning and by removing paid credits, doesn’t seem very transparent or user-friendly. Why do they even provide invite links?.
