Guess who was #4 on this list? 🇦🇺

I’m surprised more House M.D. characters weren’t on the list.

Worst Restaurant Ever

I’ve watched almost every episode of Kitchen Nightmares and I do believe there is the worst restaurant in the show’s history. I don’t even think it’s possible to be worse than this restaurant.

Surprisingly enough, it’s not Amy’s Baking Company. I think Amy’s Baking Company is notorious for being the one and only restaurant GR walked out on, but they at least had a clean kitchen. There are multiple components to what makes a restaurant well-run and usually a commonality between failing restaurants seen on the show. Most restaurants have inept owners or staff. Most have filthy kitchens. I think for some restaurants if there’s a change in the chef, change of heart in the owner, or if there’s some training given by GR, they’ve corrected course.

However, the worst restaurant I’ve seen in the show’s history is Dillon’s and that’s not even taking account the fiasco of Martin. I’m typically very optimistic, but I could not find one thing that was good about the restaurant. I hope the producers were trying to hype up the show in maybe making it look worse than it actually was, but this restaurant was beyond disaster. Let me point out how awful this restaurant was.

-The exterior decor was hideous with tacky billboard signage.

-The name of the Indian restaurant didn’t sound Indian. Who came up with the name?

-The interior decor was awful with white drapes being hung all over the walls. Who the fuck thought that was a great idea?

-The chair Gordon sat at was wobbly.

-There were flies swarming in the dining room.

-The menu for the restaurant was scattered between British, buffalo, Irish, American and Indian food.

-The waiter served Gordon a plate that was filthy.

-The food looked like literal shit.

-Gordon was served meat in the vegetarian sampler.

-There was beef bhuna on the menu. What Indian restaurant would serve beef?

-The beef bhuna was actually lamb.

-The tomato garnish on the biryani was rotten.

-The potatoes for Gordon’s salmon were rotten.

-The salmon was cooked from frozen and burnt when served.

-The operations manager was also one of the cooks.

-The chefs cooked on the floor.

-There were three managers for the restaurant.

-The restaurant was overstaffed, which drove up expenses due to salaries.

-The owner was so aloof and delusional like he didn’t know his restaurant was that bad and that disaster is acceptable for him. “Maybe the standard Gordon has is very high compared to mine.”

-One of the chefs had nothing to cook.

-It took 40 minutes to get appetizers out.

Ohhh…..and that restaurant was probably the filthiest fucking kitchen in the show’s history.

-The film wrapping was covered with flies.

-The vegetable broth was foamy.

-There were moldy beef hamburgers that were white in the middle.

-There was green chicken.

-There were cockroaches on the walls in the downstairs storage area.

-There were rats downstairs as well.

-There were rat droppings under one of the fridges.

-There were insects inside boxes.

-There were insects on plates.

-There were insects in the refrigeration entry seal.

-There were rotten peppers.

-There were flies in the salad bag.

That’s all I could count for now. I didn’t even like the name nor the decor. Everything they could possibly screw up, they screwed up. There wasn’t one thing I could think of that this restaurant did well or even okay at. I doubt there will ever be a restaurant this bad ever again with such incompetence. Does anyone agree with me?
