Look at all that good food dying at the window. What’s the point of making it if you bring it to them ice cold? Also, that wall needs some paint.

Gordon Ramsay works as a private investigator for Andy Warhol?

In the 1960’s, Abe Saffron builds his criminal empire. On the other side of the globe, Tiny Tim and Andy Warhol cross paths multiple times and collaborate.

Fast forward decades. During an episode of Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Ramsay visited The Burger Kitchen in Los Angeles. The Burger Kitchen was run by Alan Saffron, son of Abe Saffron. Suspecting an investigation, Alan gives Gordon a book attempting to bargain a plea, acknowledging his father’s criminal activity. Abe Saffron was a suspect for arson after the 1979 Ghost Train fire which occurred at Luna Park- the venue for Tiny Tim's singing marathon. Martin Sharp, who was the designer for the band Cream's album art (as well as a lyricist), dubbed “Australia’s answer to Andy Warhol”, collaborated with Tiny Tim beforehand, creating countless pop art portraits of the singer. After the fire, Sharp became obsessed with the idea that Tim's performances were linked to the fire.

3 years later, in 1982, Andy Warhol films a video of himself eating a burger, playing it off as a piece of performance art.

Tiny Tim's song "Livin' In the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight' was featured in the pilot episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, where SpongeBob applies to work at a burger restaurant that is run by a greedy owner.

2019- NFL airs the Warhol video as an ad, the next year Alan Saffron dies, supposedly from a heart attack.

“It’s not a goddamn Chinese lasagna”

Ever since I first heard that line, I was like is Chinese lasagna even a thing? It is now. I still think that’s the best line in the show.

THROWBACK TUESDAY: "Mam', I have the Best Balls in town and that rack of lamb was cooked to you by Chef Mike. Who do you work for, a microwave company???"

Something I don't get about the ABC episode

Ok, so at S6E16 we have one of the most iconic kitchen nightmares episodes. A duo so whackjob Gordon gave up on even trying to help them. However, there's something I don't get: at the beginning interview, Amy and Sammy mention they've been through several hundred staff members, that they are all "dirty and lazy" and "only care about their paycheck". Later Gordon meets with Jessica and Henry and they mentioned a turnover of over 100 people. When Gordon meets back with Amy and Sammy and mentions what Henry and Jessica told him, she got extremely defensive and wanted "proof". But, you provided the proof yourself 20 minutes earlier in the video! Is this an editing oversight or is Amy that whacky that she doesn't remember what she told him and goes back on it the second provided with an out source of their misconduct?

Edit: I've read all of you guys' comments, and I guess my main takeaway from all of this is never underestimate how crazy and deluded people can be. Glad to say I don't know anyone that far gone in my personal life...

"Unless he's got a new method I don't know about..." "HEH, his method's gonna be; YOU GOTTA GET HERE AT 11 IN THE MORNING!"

"There should be sand in the mussels and there often is. That's why you have the broth to dip them in" Man I sure do love crunching down on sand as an evening snack

Inconsistency with Joe

Rewatching the Mill Street eps and all we know Joe lies about his food being fresh with it being frozen

But what about the farm? Did he just lie to the production about having a farm so he could brag to Gordon? It’s weird because I feel like no one has brought this up
