ITT: We talk about Ragnarok Zero "Global" OBT without bringing up the most obvious topics
The other threads have already covered up all the obvious complaints anyway. So, let's use this thread to talk about everything else that pertains to the OBT period of this version of the game, both positive and negative. Complaints about every other aspects of the game are welcomed here.
I'll start:
I'm surprised that they still use the Criatura Academy version of the tutorial for this version. But it's to be expected since Taiwan ROZ (which this server is based on) seems to not have the Zero-original Episodes yet....
....okay, I spoke too soon. Immediately after changing to First Job, Sprakki sends me to Iris to start the Zero-original Episode Quests.
Another thing that I noticed is that they never tell you how to toggle Auto-Hunt feature in-game. Same with the Map Channels feature (Channel C and D are usually less crowded than A and B). I finally figured it out after searching through Tip Box, though. Don't forget to toggle off the "Able to fight monster that other player is attacking" if you want to be respectful to other players.
The Megaphone wars between SEA players in SEA servers have been amusing so far LOL
Despite the EXP Boost items and Auto-Hunt, the EXP rate is slow, like 1/1/1 slow. Daily Quests don't help much, either. And as far as I can see, there's no 2nd Classes characters on the first day yet.
Just died to a monster for the first time and...I don't think the screen darkens like that in regular official RO client
Some other things on Auto-Hunt and Map Channels:
- You cannot use Auto-Hunt and Auto-Potion at the same time, because the former already includes the latter and Auto-Potion is more of a convenience when your hotkey bars are filled with Skills later on
- Auto-Hunt's monster check list resets every time you change channels
- If you manually click to walk during Auto-Hunt, the Auto-Hunt automatically turns off
- You can only accept and turn in Daily Quests in "Current Channel" channel
