I been seeing a lot of marketing lately about the game, and in the last updates i got to admit it made me want to play, but i'm very suspicious of anything new involved with Gravity, every new release i played disapointed me. I can only hope the Gravity team in Hong Kong and JoyMaker have a different aproach to monetization compared to the Gravity team from Korea.
I remember when I was a teen and renewall wasn't released yet back theb, everyone was so hyped waiting for the third jobs to be released. I always played pre renewall private servers and never wanted to try third jobs so I cannot give an opinion about a phase of the game I have never played. Why is renewall hated so much?
Given we see actual blatant advertising in this thread all the time I figure this is ok given it’s an outlier.
First off, I’m the owner of PA, that’s why I’m making this post.
In short very recently, I was compromised on my discord and my information got out.
Due to depth of compromise I was took immediate efforts to backup the server and close the host and all move things tied to it to new host/accounts/etc.
Our old 4000 member discord was unfortunately deleted by the person who took over my old discord and that the server was down at same time may have led people to believe that we just abruptly shut down permanently.
This post is just to let anyone who may have been playing the server is back up.

I'm a huge noob and I may be stupid . I have project revenant / revenant elegy installed, I only played once before but everything was working fine, and now I can't connect to the servers. I can't access the discord either so i look it up online and apparently it's getting a reboot, does that mean that currently while waiting for the reboot the game is completely dead ?
I just want to experience old days ragnarok online because I missed it when it was a thing, if there's a much simpler way and I'm just blind, please feel free to tell me lol
I remember making parties for leveling, mvps or farm stuff, but everything I hear from renewall screams solo play. Is there any reason to play or interact with other players aside from trading? Like, do I ever need to make a party?
I'm looking to play Ragnarok online, I've seen there are different versions. What's the best? Most populated? Also, classes. I've watched guides here and there and seem a touch complicated. I like spears and I like agi type classes too. Any suggestions for all the above? Thanks everyone in advance :)

Once ragnarok zero global comes out, is it likely that we'll get a private server that's pretty much a copy without maybe the stuff that is generally agreed on that we dont want, how easy is it to just "copy paste" all that's in the global release and just make it a private server version?

I've been working on this for almost 3 years now, everything in the game was reworked, focusing on class fantasy and engaging gameplay rather than spamming the same skill
New systems have been added like professions, reputations and even Ironman Mode (almost like SSF, but a tad bit different)

Unfortunately my GPU stopped working a few weeks ago and I couldn't manage to make an amazing video to present you guys as a teaser/trailer, but you can check one of the latest aditions: Mythic MvPs, where it makes low level mvps be as challenging as max levels and then an infinite scaling added to it, that you can choose of it you want, cause surely thats fun!
Last time we had only 12 final jobs, now we have 23, and 30 on release
Currently we have a final job evolution available for all first jobs, except Soul Linker, which I need some more time to cook
The open beta will last 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how things goes, the goal is 1st week just to bugfix, then some balancing, then adding some new stuff to keep you guys entertained :)

I used to play about 10 years ago but when they had the GDPR cull on iRO I stopped. I think I did a year or two on a private but can't remember.
I've just logged back on to my old account, I have a 175 Genetic and 175 Guillotine Cross along with a fairly good spread of slightly lower level characters. Most of my gear is around +9 and who knows if the cards are good. I think I have about 2 billion zeny - is that a lot these days?
In addition I've spend the last few days playing uaRO levelling up a thief which has been slower paced really fun.
I'd like to get back a bit but am completely lost as to where to turn - 10 years of renewal progress is terrifying to catch up on but I've got a solid amount of time on it. uaRO is fun but I've got literally nothing.
Any advice / considerations?

And players are not being allowed to migrate, even though surprisingly there is a lot of activity on socials and on discord like enough to be one channel of IRO.
The thing is, I'm having some issues with the anchor point of a playable character's head. In ActEditor, you can see that the head lines up well with the damage animation (gif), frame by frame (it's worth noting that it's in “Activate Sprite” mode, not “Body”).
But when it’s actually run in the game (gif 2), the head—or rather, the head’s anchor point—shifts out of the spot where it’s supposed to be.
Why is this happening?

Je souhaite implémenter un système de guerres de territoires et j'aimerais beaucoup avoir votre avis. Vos retours me permettront de l'améliorer si nécessaire.
Le système serait basé sur la capture de totems répartis sur 134 cartes. L'avantage ? Vous accumulez des bonus d'XP, de statistiques et de taux de butin en fonction du nombre de territoires contrôlés !
Comme il s'agirait d'un serveur à faible taux de butin, je pense que ce type de bonus enrichirait le gameplay. Il encouragerait également les guerres de guildes et la conquête de territoires !
Pourquoi la plupart des serveurs de Ragnarok Online limitent-ils le PvP intéressant à la seule « Guerre d'Emperium » ? En dehors de cet événement, la carte du monde semble généralement réservée au PvE. Serait-il judicieux d'étendre les conflits de guildes à l'ensemble de la carte, ou cela risquerait-il de perturber l'équilibre du jeu ?

I'm playing a level 93 Champion on uaRO, and I'm thinking about switching from my Sleeper farming build to a build focused on farming Orleans's Gloves from Bow Guardians.
I'm totally fine with resetting my stats and changing my gear if needed.
What stats and equipment would you recommend for farming them as efficiently as possible?
