23M/ Making 9L/mon. POST 2

Hey everyone,

My DMs completely exploded after my post two weeks ago. So many of you asked how I'm actually making this kind of money with AI automation. I promised a no-gatekeeping breakdown, so let’s get straight into it. To be completely honest with you guys, what I’m sharing is 100% real truth—no fluff, just what worked.

Alhamdulillah, I hit 9 Lakh/month in just about 6 months. But it took a lot of grinding and a very specific strategy to get here.

1. The Strategy: Hyper-Focus First

Don’t try to learn 50 AI tools at once. It's overwhelming. I started by mastering just one specific thing: building landing pages using AI. I built a clean portfolio around just that, got my foot in the door with clients, and only added new skills after they trusted me. Now, I’ve picked up 5 or 6 different softwares along the way by solving client problems.

2. The Tech Stack

Once I scaled into full workflow automation, my tech stack became:

GoHighLevel (GHL): My absolute core platform for CRM, client funnels, and core operations.

n8n, Zapier, & Make.com: For backend AI automations and connecting apps.

3. The Hustle & The Pivot

Getting started was brutal. I spent three solid months applying on Upwork with zero luck. Once I finally landed that first client, momentum took over and I reinvested everything. Right now, I’m scaling into a proper agency. I'm collecting video reviews from my current clients and will be recording video content myself to boost our conversion.

4. I Need People to Outsource To

Honestly? I have too much work right now. I’m always looking for hungry people who want to learn. I brought a few people on board recently, but no luck—it didn't work out. I’m still looking for dedicated people to teach, with the goal of completely outsourcing my overflow work to you in the future.

My advice: Master one specific skill, land a client for it, and then stack more skills on top.

23M/Earnimg 9L/mon looking to scale?

Hey guys,

Need some advice from people who have already gone through this stage.

Right now I'm working in the AI space as a freelancer and making around 9 lakh PKR/month. Most of that comes from one client that I originally got through Upwork, and over time it basically turned into a long-term/full-time role. The company seems pretty stable and I've built a good relationship with them, so I'm not too worried about that side of things.

The thing is, I'm now trying to grow beyond just being a solo freelancer. I've started working on building an agency, and the plan is to hire a few talented people, train them, and eventually have a small team handling projects.

My biggest challenge right now is client acquisition. Upwork has worked well for me so far, but I don't want to rely on a single platform forever. I've been thinking about LinkedIn since I've heard a lot of people get clients there, but honestly I have no idea where to start or whether it's even the best option.

For those who have gone from freelancing to running a small agency, how did you get your first few clients outside of Upwork? Did LinkedIn work for you? Cold outreach? Content? Something else?

Would love to hear what's actually working in 2026 instead of the usual generic advice.

Thanks!
