Repost of my gold chain.

Hey Reddit. I made a post yesterday about selling my chain and everyone was helpful in their responses. Someone recommended I make a post with some photos so people could get a better idea of what it might be worth, so here you go

It’s 14k, 18 inches and a little dirty from years of wearing it.

I looked it up and saw the melt price, I’m just wondering what you guys think I could get from a jeweler or pawn shop for it. Any help would be appreciated so I know what offer to expect.

I don’t have a scale so I did a diy one at home using nickels.

I’m wondering what I could sell it for at a pawn shop.
I know the melt price is like $990 but obviously I won’t get that.

Do you guys think I can swing full time work?

For my LA teachers:
I have secured Glendale unified, Pasadena Unified, and a private Catholic school in Pasadena.

I have also applied to Burbank and South Pasadena unified school districts.

I am trying to thread a narrow summer budget needle and, if I can get full time work starting in the last two weeks of September, then I will be fine.

With what I have set up, do you think I’ll be able to get enough work for full time starting the last two weeks of September?

I’m so confused about the technology.

Frankly I hate it. It’s everywhere in the classrooms, but what can you do?

My problem is that my aeries portal sign ins NEVER work and I mean never.

For those in SoCal, how do you handle that when it comes to admin? I’ve called down a couple times and once I went back to the main office. Still nothing worked.

Also, I can’t ever get on the teacher for whom I’m subbing’s computer. Either I’m blind as a bat and can’t find the password they left for me on the desk, or they don’t leave one. Should I just see about finding their email so that I can sign in?

The vibes always seem like I should just know.

I don’t have the best kitchen in my new apartment. I’m trying to find ways to make this space efficient. I just hung the two hooks for the pots and pans.

The two major things I was wondering are:

Do you guys know any organizers for the shelving I have here

Does anyone know of a material that can go between the toaster oven and stove so I can use both at the same time as they are? The stove has rubber legs and the toaster oven gets hot so they would melt.

Any other suggestions are welcome. Thank you!
