I want to solve a real problem instead of building another useless project — what problems do you face?

I’m a BCA student/developer, and I’m trying to build something that actually solves a real problem rather than making another generic To-Do app, calculator, or management system that nobody uses.

So I’d love to hear from people here:

  1. What is something you have to do regularly that genuinely annoys you?
  2. What takes much more time than it should?
  3. What problem do you currently solve with WhatsApp, Excel, Google Sheets, paper, or some awkward workaround?
  4. What existing app/service do you use that you think could be much better?
  5. Is there a problem you’ve thought, “Why doesn’t someone just make a simple app for this?”

It can be anything — personal life, students, work, small businesses, local communities, shopping, finances, communication, productivity, etc.
I’m not looking for startup ideas like “make an AI app.”

I’m specifically looking for real frustrations people already experience.

If I find a problem that I can realistically solve, I’d like to build and deploy the solution publicly and potentially turn it into a proper project/product.

So, what’s a problem you personally wish someone would solve?

I made 9 Letterboxd lists. Feel free to browse them or recommend me more movies!

Hey everyone!

I’ve been organizing everything I’ve watched into themed Letterboxd lists. I made them both for myself and for anyone looking for recommendations, watch orders, or just curious about what I’ve watched.

So far, I’ve made these 9 lists:

- Short Films I’ve Watched

- Anime & Animated Movies/Series (Drawn to Greatness)

- The Documentary Shelf

- DCAMU: Every Movie in Chronological Order

- The Batman Saga (Matt Reeves)

- The Hall of Shame (Bad Movies & Series)

- Horror Movies & Series I’ve Watched

- Best Crime Movies & Series

- GOATed Nepali Movies I’ve Watched

If you’re interested in any of these categories, I’d be happy to share my lists.

I’m also always looking for recommendations! If you know any great horror, crime, documentary, anime, animated films, short films, DC animation, Batman-related media, or Nepali movies that you think I should watch, let me know. I’d love to add them to my watchlist.

Thanks in advance, and happy watching! 🍿

I Built ConfessHub – An Anonymous Confession Platform

**ConfessHub** is an anonymous confession platform where anyone can freely share their thoughts, secrets, stories, or feelings without revealing their identity. The goal is to provide a safe and simple space where people can express themselves, read others’ experiences, and connect through honest conversations.

Currently, ConfessHub includes features such as anonymous confession posting, community reactions through upvotes and downvotes, comments and discussions, user authentication, a clean and responsive interface, and categories to help organize confessions. The platform is designed to be easy to use while maintaining users’ privacy.

There are many exciting features planned for future updates, including direct messaging, user profiles with customizable avatars, confession bookmarks, advanced search and filters, content moderation improvements, notifications, trending confessions, and many more enhancements to make the platform even better.

One issue I’ve run into is that Reddit automatically removes or takes down my post whenever I include my website link. Because of this, I can’t add the link directly in the post. Instead, **I’ll leave the website link in the comments** so anyone who’s interested can easily check it out.

Anyone else thinking about watching Supergirl in theaters?

I’ve been thinking about watching Supergirl in theaters, but I’m still a bit confused about whether it’s worth it. The trailers look interesting, but I haven’t fully decided yet.

What about you guys? Have you already watched it, or are you planning to? Without major spoilers, would you recommend seeing it on the big screen?
