Pimax devs some power options please.

First off without question for me the Dream Air is the best headset on the market.

With that said please look into allowing the headset to power off using the built-in power button.

It is baffling to me why you folks chose to have the headset in a constant powered state even with the software not running.

That "harmless" constant heat will unnecessarily wear out the components and age the plastic.

I understand there are third-party options to physically cut off the power to the headset or just pull the plug but this is no excuse.

You folks have a built-in on/off button so why can't it be an **option** to power down the headset without pulling the plug or resorting to third-party options?

There is no excuse for this considering the premium price of this headset.

The cynic in me can't help to think it's the IR cameras that are constantly being energized (producing heat) which would be troubling if true. I know those type of cameras can generate noticeable heat when powered (and not in use) because I notice this with my trackIR camera.

Please fix this.

Overall impressed with IL2K

Just want the devs to know that their attention to detail is very much appreciated.

One thing that surprised me was test flying the F86. At first I thought the cockpit looked off especially the airspeed dial font size. I thought that the font size for the numbers were too big.

Never saw this in the DCS cockpit model or the MSFS24 cockpit model.

Then I went and looked up the cockpit photos at the official museum website. Nope you guys nailed it. They are big and obnoxious just like in real life.

Absolutely love the airfield detail and the nice touches like getting out and walking. That is so next level!

Great stuff! I can't wait to see the final more polished version as you guys approach full release.

My only disappointment so far is how the fantastic weather effects can't be localized to a certain locale.

I am crossing my fingers that your engine is flexible enough to add that in down the road.

In any case you folks have a fantastic foundation to build on.

Can someone explain to me the logic of putting firmware updates behind a login?

I have been buying gaming hardware for decades. I have never been locked out of downloading support software before.

I bought the echo controller from a reseller and imagine my surprise when I find out I can't log in to the official honeycomb download section because I did not buy anything directly from the company.

This is crazy. All I want to do is update the dongle firmware and the only place I can get it won't let me log-in because I am not in their customer database.

I have never seen this before.

The first and last product I ever buy from this company.
