Remy losing his voice

I've been watching back some reactions to the blogs from the Texas trip and Remy used to be WAYYYY more talkative!! Go take a look, he asking questions, he's actually engaging with her and she's not interrupting him every two seconds. Yes, it's still juvenile and weird but he's not silent. In the recent vlogs from July that we've seen he is way more passive, spacing out or just not engaging. Or, he's just praising and comforting Roz. Maybe it's a medication thing but that's not my business. All I can say is if my partner had a dramatic decline in talking and conversing, I would be concerned. Like can you image how dull the interactions are when it's just heart eyes and puppy love shit? Maybe it's his insecurity after seeing the reactions from people online. It's just unfortunate that he probably can't get a word in with Roz anymore cause she ran out of "being quiet and listening to this new person" energy.

I wonder if they even talk like normal people on calls or if she's just ranting and raving about whatever ailment of the day she has. Where did his male leadership attitude go? Must've been stomped on by Roz.

I think we're in for a RAGE stream today folks

Roz has a stream scheduled for tonight and based off the way she has replied to people on the community post, she's not going to be in a good mood. I say this cause I was just browsing over there and saw she replied to someone an hour ago. What are your predictions on things she'll say or do? We could make a bingo board lol.

My bet is on someone chatting in her defense and her going "👁️¬👁️ nodding yup...yup."

Help me write 12 days of Rosie

I was watching a month old retro react of pulpy and he said something about the amount of sunglasses sounding like a christmas rhyme. So this is my new goal of the day, to write The 12 Days of Rosie lol. These are just going to be references not insults please.

So far:

On the first day of christmas my Rosie gave to me, A butler called Remileeeeee
On the second day of christmas my Rosie gave to me, Two broken ipads, and A Butler called Remileeee

I could use your help on the next 10 days or so. 12 will be build bar boxes, and Willie's has to be in there somewhere. Ten will be 10 high pain days for sure. Just thought this would be fun lol and I'll update it throughout the day.

Dad DIY situation...

You'll have to bare with me because I don't want to bother my Dad too much atm since he is now stressing out, so I don't have all the detailed information. Our toilet was leaking into our basement and my Dad figured out it was the material that stops that from happening (where the pipe connects to the toilet) being worn out, so he removed the toilet, drilled out the material and is now sitting there like, "what have i done..." He bought the white thing you see in the 2nd picture but says it's not the right size. Something about how he won't be able to drill it in properly, potentially putting a board there to create some type of seal and then eventually having to replace the floor...It does look like the wood below the tile has damage. I believe he means cutting out a shape to fit in on top of where that gap is, not a whole piece of ply wood as a bandaid.

I don't have any before pictures. I woke up to our toilet in the dining room. We do have a very old house with some old pipes that have been damaged by tree roots in the past, but those were the larger ones that ran out to the sewer line, which were replaced.

He's almost 56, not a plumber, and I worry he will mess it up more or hurt himself.

who was the hasan look-a-like at the capital on jan 6th?

We all know he is way better looking than this weirdo but I had to share this old screenshot I found deep in my phone. I wasn't even a hasan viewer at that point. I think I just saw this on twitter and saved it during the chaos. Maybe he's seen it before idk 🤷‍♂️ It made me laugh.

Women's dress shoes recommendations?

I'm going to a wedding in two weeks and need to find some shoes that won't kill my feet after an hour. I'll be wearing a short black dress and obviously not a heel girly. Any brands of sandals or flats I can look for? I'm at a loss of where to even start cause I think all dress shoes, even pre RA, are uncomfortable. I have slightly wide feet too and my knees and toes are prone to hurting.

Beginner struggle bus

So I'm using my Flex Cup for the very first time today and am struggling! I practiced getting it in with lube a couples weeks ago and it was easy, then and now. My problem is comfort. I feel pressure on and off, sometimes I get pinchy cramps and just an achey cramp. I used it for about 8 hours before emptying it cause I peed and felt bubbles in mademoiselle which is a signal that it's full, all went fine. Same discomfort when I put it back in. I struggle to adjust it once it's past my pubic bone and all I can easily get to is the tab. I don't know about you but I don't know HOW anyone is using their thumb and forefinger to pinch or twist their cup whiles it's inside them! My thumb cannot reach with my finger, I'd need to surgically reattach it higher on my hand or something. I tried my forefinger and middle finger to twist it a little to see if that would help, but I can't apply enough force to get a grip so to speak. I've read that people think the material is soft but I have to disagree. It is really tough and hard to fold up to insert. I don't know what else to try to make it more comfortable.

I can't feel my cervix with my fingers either. I have no clue where it is unless something else is pressing against it like a tampon, toy or this cup. That's why the pull tab sounded appealing, and it still does know that I know my thumb is useless. I really want this to work, pads suck and itch and tampons have so many chemicals. Does it take time to get used to or for the cup to get a little softer? Is it just more painful cause I'm on day one and that's when I get the most cramps? I'm not sure what to do from here. Cups aren't cheap.

Automatic renewal confusion

I got the yearly deluxe membership last year and in my order it says it will renew on June 18th 2026. Well, that date has clearly passed and I still have deluxe and had a withdrawal for it from my bank account. The issue was I did not receive any notification or email regarding the perks you get for the yearly purchase. I waited a couple days, then contact support. I'm a little confused why the cancled the automatic renewal and why I can't choose to reactivate that service?? I got the pet code for the yearly purchase, so that's good. But it still says June 18th 2026 is when it will be over? I'm just lost and don't want to bother them too much.

Shot administered wonky, should I tell doc?

I did my Enbrel shot like usual but I think the needle retracted a bit before the second click, because the gaurd came down a little early so I pressed it back down and this it clicked and I waited 5-10 seconds but it looked like this. It was like it partially administered into a layer of my skin and not deeper like it should? The puffiness has gone down but there is a pale ring around where I did it. I've never had this happen. I don't know if this means the dose won't be as effective or if it will be absorbed normally. Anyone else experienced this? I also go for my thigh and pinch a good chunk of it.

Hey there. I've been slowly lower my prednisone the last month from 7.5mg to 7ish mg after being on 20-15mg from october to december, and jumping from 10mg to 7.5mg back to 10mg and so on since January. Enbrel has been been working great so I've been lowering, as I said. I've gained twenty pounds since my diagnosis in October...I'm only 5ft so it's not great. I've been 150lbs in the past but was around 125-135 the last few years so it really tough to see that number come back. I really don't like my body right now. Now, I don't know if it's body dysmorphia or not, but I feel like I'm just getting bigger. I was not eating well this winter, really depressed, in tons of pain constantly etc, so I relied on sugar. Counter intuitive, I know. I really didn't care at the time.

Since early April I've stopped with all the candy and snacking, but I still feel like I'm getting bigger. I consume up to 2.2k and 1.8k calories on average. I know prednisone can redistribute your fat and I'm noticing my abdomen getting larger. The pants that fit me a few months ago are too tight around my stomach and thighs. I want to exercise but my knees hurt after standing for more than fifteen minutes.

Is it possible to gain weight while lowering Prednisone? I feel like it's not likely and would be from a diet/movement issue but I've got half of that under control. It's really making me insecure. I'm scared of this change in my body. Is it really hard to get back to pre prednisone weight? What else can I do to stop it from getting worse? I'm afraid to lower the prednisone too quickly and cause a flare. My life was a constant 8 out of 10 pain flare for like eight months. It's so hard and overwhelming. I could lament about all my woes and things that don't fit me anymore, but it's not relevant. Should I just do a lot of crunches and planks? 😭
