Looking for Good Motorcycle Gear that wont break the Bank

Just got a Honda Navi I know I know its not a motorcycle even though its listed as one

all I know is you can get messed up or even pass away on one of these things as well

so my question is I want to get some riding gear like Boots , Pants , Shirts , Jacket etc... whatever that will keep me safe if I were to go down

I have alot of friends that ride the big boy bikes and they say there is a saying "its not if you go down its when you go down"

when I was younger I fell on 2 mopeds doing 20mph and got lucky one time wearing a helmet one time not wearing a helmet cause I was just riding around the block ( not smart even around the block wear a helmet)

so I know to get the best gear you have to spend the big bucks so I am just wondering what are some good cheaper options out there for someone cruising at 25-45mph and avoiding main roads as much as possible until I get my stock tires off of this thing and get my michelins put on

my little nephew has a nice street bike and had all the top of the line gear I just cant afford a $800 helmet and $500 boots etc.. at this point

so just looking for some good alternatives

being summer I just ride in shorts and a t-shirt and I would like to stop doing that

any suggestions and help would be much appreciated

Valve Clearance at 600 miles

my 2025 Navi had hit the 600 mile mark I bought it beginning of June with 11 miles on it

its a 2025

I just now hit the 600mile mark I change the oil at 400 miles

now I need to do the Valve Clearance

I dont want to take it to a honda dealership cause I am sure it will cost an arm and a leg

my question is what is the exact clearance for both the Intake and Exhaust Valves ?

I have seen 0.16mm which is they say 0.006in

is this correct ?

and also where can I buy all the tools I will need to do this

any help is much appreciated

also should I stop riding the bike until it is done or lets say I do it at 700 or 800 miles will that really make a difference ?

2025 Honda Navi Oil Change Question

This was my first time doing an Oil Change on the Honda Navi and I didn't know that the crush washer to the brand new Gold Plug I bought had two different sides to it

should I get a new Crush Washer and drain the Oil and make sure I put the new crush washer on correctly or can I leave it be ?

also I am wondering what size are the crush washers some say 12mm some say 14mm I am assuming they are 12mm because the drain plus is a 12mm head

also one more thing the side with the spring and screen and Oring

where do I find what size those Orings are ? I would like to replace my Oring every 2 Oil changes just to be safe

any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

Changing Stock 2025 Honda Navi Tires

I want to change out the stock tires of my 2025 Honda Navi

I just bought a 2025 Honda Navi with 11miles on it for $2,000

I have been reading how the stock tires suck and are what people are calling De*th Traps

I was thinking of doing this

110/70-12 in the Front

120/70-10 in the Back

I do not want to mod anything I am not Mechaincally Inclined to do any mods

just want to take the tires off take them to the honda shop have them switch the tires and put them back on

any suggestions on what sizes I should go with ?

will these diff size tires mess with the odometer reading ?

any help would be appreciated
