Uncooperative buyer
I had a buyer purchase 2 items from me, shipped together ground advantage to Miami. Items arrived in Miami 5/10 (eta on delivery is by 5/14) and haven't moved since. Noticed this on the 16th and opened a missing mail case because I thought it was unusual. Buyer messages me saying he hadn't received the item on 5/17. Reached out to ebay and ebay says to reach out to USPS and see if they can look into it. USPS tells me the address is a freight forwarding address, and to this specific location delays of 1-2 weeks are typical and they ask me to find out which company the buyer used to freight forward and where they would be sent to as their final destination to help their investigation so I get a case number to follow up with USPS.
So I message the buyer, explain this, ask the questions and he answers nothing. Won't give me any of the information USPS requests, and if the items don't show up I am still stuck refunding him despite his lack of willingness to give any sort of information that would be beneficial to help this case. I feel like somehow he will end up getting refunded and getting the items both through some shitty chain of events.
