K03+ experience?
Welp my DMF is gone/on its way out and I’m going to pull the engine to do that and the chains as well, so now the “while you’re in there” turbo upgrade is biting at me. Curious how this would pair with the factory DP or if I will need an upgraded DP. Anyone have experience with the hybrid k03 setups
(I’d rather not go k04)
As for mods if your curious / concerned about a turbo upgrade
(Blew engine and trans at 75k and swapped in a 35k engine, currently the drivetrain has like 80k on it now)
Stock location intercooler
Upgraded gfb diverter
Both side charge pipes
Uni stage 1 with stage 2 trans (removed trans tune for last year to save my dmf)
Full carbon apr intake
034 mounts
Upgraded dog bone (printed TPU bushings lol)
Custom suspension
Golf r rear brakes, stop tech front 4pot
Whiteline sway bars front and rear
Maintenance done recently
Intake valve cleaning 5k ago
New water pump 5k ago
Oil changes every 3k
Trans service 20k ago
New intake manifold and injector seals 5k ago
(Need to check timing chain stretch but last time I checked it was .5 degrees and I’m changing them anyways lol)
Car is ready to rock n roll for a stage 2 but I’ve been hesitant with the trans in the state it’s in.
