I have ’22 Insight with from what i can tell is the original OEM battery.

I have ~140k miles on it and haven’t had any major issues with it so far.

My question is should i just go ahead and replace the (possible 5 year old) 12v battery even though i’m not seeing any issues starting my car? I have seen some people say a new battery will improve MPGs but i’ve also seen plenty of of people say it doesn’t effect fuel efficiency at all.

Also would OEM or aftermarket better?
