How to practice trills at the end of Beethoven op. 111

I am learning this sonata and oh my god, these trills are so evil. My 3-5, 4-5 RH trills are in general, pretty bad. Any advice on practicing this is welcome.

Technical regimen for maximum improvement

I am currently preparing for my senior recital repertoire but my technique is not good enough for the pieces I want to play. Assuming I have unlimited practice time, what would you recommend for someone who is advanced to improve technique as much as possible in a short timeframe?

To give more info, I have played Chopin Butterfly etude, and Ocean. I can play Prokofiev Sarcasms and I’ve worked through the entire hannon book. I am currently working on Prokofiev Concerto no. 3, which is fairly far beyond what I’m capable of right now. As I’m learning this though, I am not struggling so bad that it feels undoable, so I believe I can actually play this piece. Videos of my playing are on my account, and feel free to ask more questions.

I just really need to get my technique to a better place, I’m so close I feel, but not quite there yet.

Technical Preparation for Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody no. 12

I would like to play Liszt's 12th rhapsody, but I don't yet have the technique to perform this piece. I have played Chopin Etudes op. 10 no. 3, Op. 25 no 9 and op 25 no. 12, but not to the marked tempos. I have never played a Liszt Etude, but I have played the 5th Rhapsody and the Sposalizio from the italian pilgrimage. What exercises or etudes would you recommend to approach this rhapsody?

Developing LH trills

I have a very good RH 2-3 trill, but every other trill sucks. I really cannot do a good LH trill, how do I develop this? Any exercises that I can do?

Hello! I am working on a project for a class where I was supposed to get interviews with expert transcribers/composers who are published, but no one I contacted responded 😞

If you are a published composer/transcriber, please donate your time to answering some of the questions I have put below!

  1. How do I market myself as a capable transcriber to potential publishers having never published anything before?
  2. How viable is the process of self publishing?
    1. Is it the most expensive?
    2. How complex is it to navigate?
    3. Would you ever recommend this for anyone?
  3. Should I transcribe things with a market out there already or should I continue to create only what I’d like to?
  4. How do I create a quality transcription for wind band from orchestra or from piano?
  5. Where could I learn more about creating a quality transcription?
    1. Should I study privately with someone?
    2. Would you recommend composition school?
  6. I want to get a performance from a wind band at some point in the future, how do you break through to becoming a performed composer/transcriber?
