In terms of technology and advancement, should I buy a new car or wait a few more years?

I have been driving my old car for about 15 years now. Still runs fine, has some minor problems, does not have modern car features like navigation system, rear view, connecting to internet. Think it's finally time to buy a car with modern-day features, and I can fully pay the car without any loans or interests.

Question is, are we at a tech/advancement point where we likely won't see a lot quality of life features in the future?

Is Popeyes in Southern California just bad? How is it so rated highly online?

I have tried several different locations of Popeyes over the past decade, from ones near my house, to one nears my workplace, to one near the university I attended. And every single time the result has not only been disappointing but simply bad. The chicken lacks any sense of juiciness, I can't even tell if there is a difference in the spicy version and regular version, the sides like mashed potatoes, cajun fries, mac and cheese are damn awful as if they have been made days ago and sitting in a heater. I've tried going at opening time to see if "fresh" chicken and sides would be better, and it's the same.

I simply cannot believe the rave and praise online. People sear on the juiciness of the chicken and it feels like I'm being gastlit. I've seen Popeyes VS Jolibees comparison videos where people say they come very close to one another and I simply cannot believe what I am hearing. Jolibees chicken is actually juicy, tender, and the spicy versions have a kick to them. There is simply no way the two can anywhere be said to be close in quality and taste.

So what's up? Is it just my area and SC where Popeyes is awful? Are they great in other states?
